急~ Qustions about visa and study permit

My study permit will be expired in August, and I got it when I was in secondary school.
I need to renew my visa since I want to go back home in April and come back in May.
Today I went to ISO, but the staff said I can't use my current study permit to apply for my new visa since it's only valid for the secondary school.
The staff advised me to apply for new study permit right away, and then renew my visa, but I thought it's too risky since I need to be back in the beginning of May and time might be not enough.
I just wonder whether it' possible that I can get my visa without applying for the new study permit(I mean, use my study permit which will be expired in August)

It's weird. How come you don't have a valid study permit for the university? I thought it was a requirement for the admission.

well, you can always take your own risk... the problem might be much more serious then what you think it is...

well , I do have a valid study permit, but it is only for my secondry school.
At that time, I thought I can still use it since it haven't been expired yet.

唉,现在也不知道要不要取消回国机票,反正还没付钱,估计study permit 39天的话正好走之前能拿到,但visa就只能回国再弄了,就不知道来得及不
而且最担心的是会不会因为我的这个invalid study permit造成以后移民时的麻烦

这些东西就按规定办就是了。

关键问题是你这么粗心，万一算你个预期不归，到时候留个bad record. 移民，或者申请公民的时候有麻烦就坏了。
